The McCombs School of Business' Management Department boasts an award-winning faculty. Our professors regularly publish cutting-edge research about entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, organization theory, and strategic management in the best management journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Science, and Strategic Management Journal. Our faculty members regularly receive teaching awards for a variety of core and elective courses we offer to BBA, MBA, and Ph.D. students.
The McCombs School of Business upheld its top rank ever of #6 in 2016 in Bloomberg Businessweek's final survey of the best undergraduate business schools in the U.S. Moreover, according to the latest 2017 U.S. News & World Report's specialty rankings in the nation, the McCombs' undergraduate program is ranked #6 (up from #7 in 2016) and tied for third best among the country's public schools, and the Management Department itself is ranked #5. In 2018, U.S. News & World Report ranked McCombs' MBA program as #17, entrepreneurship as #9, and management as #12. Finally, Eduniversal's annual Best Masters Ranking for 2017 ranked the Master of Science in Technology Commercialization (MSTC) program as #6 in the U.S. for entrepreneurship. Worldwide, the MSTC Program climbed two spots to #18 out of 100 ranked programs.
